Once again our wonderful friends at Quiltmaker have invited us to be part of their 100 Blocks blog hop.  This is Volume 12 and our block is #1105!

I was learning how to Zentangle when I did this block.   Kinda reminded me of that process.

Just add a quick 3" border to make a great pillow top.

Or make it up in red for a Christmas or Valentines pillow

Turn it into a wall-hanging by adding some simple blocks for borders.

Now for the fun part!!  We will be giving away a 100 Blocks Volume 12 to three lucky winners

Just leave a comment on our blog and your e-mail so we can contact you.   Once we know our winners we will post them here on our blog and will contact you via e-mail to get your mailing address.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Quiltmaker 100 Blocks Volume 11 Blog Tour

Meet our girl Hippolina.  She is block number 1053 on page 38.  She makes me giggle!
She was on a recent safari when someone snapped this Polaroid shot!

Being the photogenic girl that she is (as well as an outgoing hippo) she gathered a gaggle of her friends for Portraits of Jungle Things.

We blew her up a bit to a 14" block and added some borders to create this  40" x 56" quilt.  A twin size version is included in the pattern, plus pillows!
Check us out!  New Whistlepig Patterns

Good Things Are Heading Our Way!

Fabric arrival day is my favorite day.  After the drawings have been put away for a while and the actual fabric arrives I am totally reinvigorated!

We are so so so excited about our new line for RJR Fabrics.  Ink Blossoms Two has got the most delicious colors.  We think this fabric will make wonderful bags, terrific quilts, super household décor.  Even the Butterfly print would be absolutely darling for a little girls flirt skirt!  Due out in Quilt Stores this summer.

We Love Quiltmaker!

We love Quilt Maker Magazine!!  We adore the staff there and the projects and the quality and everything else that makes up this wonderful magazine.  Oh - and incidentally, they have featured one of our quilts... Ted Turtle!  Which just happens to be made from our Boutique Brights for RJR fabrics.  Yup - it is a good day at Whistlepig Creek!
